My Contributions
UX Research & UX Design
Research: Designed user interview protocol and held 2 one-on-one interviews with target users.
Design: Created wireframe, hi-fi prototype and team design library.

"How might we make social prescribing more accessible to the general public?"
Through 50+survey responses and 5 target user interview, we noticed the remarkable rate of mental issue happening amount the Gen Z and Millennials.
Persona
Our users needs...
In response to these three primary requirements, we opted to develop an app centered on local events to facilitate social prescribing. The app will prioritize various event discovery and incorporate articles and media for self-improvement. We believe that this app will offer valuable assistance to this demographic at no cost.
To make the design process more organized, we first created a rough application architecture.
Information Architecture
Based on the application structure, wireframe and first round Hi-fi prototype are created for rapid user testing. Due to time limit, we only create the main workflow(event hunting) as our MVP.
Lo-Fi Prototype
We conduct five user tests to gauge user perceptions of our design, gathering feedback to create a user journey map for evaluation.
User Testing &Iteration
However...
Design is not a linear process
Following user testing, we observed complaints regarding the bookmark function. Originally, we included both "saved" and "bookmarked" pages under events and resources, respectively. Users found this confusing due to the differing names and icons, despite serving the same purpose. Therefore, we have opted to refine the architecture by introducing a unified "save" page, ensuring consistency across the application and iterate the design accordingly.
